Quick Start

Quick: click 'Quick Start'. Jump in whenever you like and attenuate rotation and pen motion using the controls and keys listed in the Legend and Reference.

Custom: to manually start the machine:

• Initiate rotation using: Up|Down|PageUp|PageDown.
• Use Left and Right keys to control pen motion.
• Hit the space-bar or the 'Draw' button to start drawing.

Reference

Quick Start: Starts drawing with default rotation and pen motion.

New: Clears canvas and resets environment to its start-up state.

Clear: Clears the canvas.

Export: Future feature. See About page for details.

Stop: Stops all motion.

Draw: Toggles draw state.

Bounce: Toggles bounce state which determines whether pen bounces at axis extremes.

Pen Width: Width of drawn line.

Pen Color: Color of drawn line.

Axis Width: Width of the axis on which the pen travels.

Axis Align: Horizontal orientation of the axis on which the pen travels.
